‘The recently launched Growth Vouchers Programme is a government scheme to help small businesses get expert support on:
- finance and cash flow
- recruiting and developing staff
- improving leadership and management skills
- marketing, attracting and keeping customers
- making the most of digital technology
Some businesses will be randomly chosen to get a voucher for up to £2,000 to help finance specialist business support. They will have to match the amount with their own funds. The government website will help walk you through the process of applying for vouchers. These funds can be used to pay for professional advice from approved Growth Voucher advisers. Advisers can be found on the official Marketplace, powered by Enterprise Nation. To gain approval to become a Growth Voucher adviser, a business has to provide evidence that it has credentials recognised by its relevant professional body.
Steve Gunn & Associates are approved advisers for Marketing and Customer Service
Steve Gunn is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. As a result, he has been approved as a Growth Voucher adviser, meaning your small business may get a voucher to help you pay for great advice that will help boost your sales and profit.
As an example of a typical Growth Adviser project, I’ve just been approached by an SME who has been approved for a voucher. He is keen to work with me to review and improve his value proposition, and then look at the implications of this for the current marketing strategy and activities.
